I liked the Super-man movement effects, except that his legs seemed to be lost on the black background, making me have to go back and check to see that it was, in fact, Super Man. However, the way Batman fades out in the background is a nice touch, and fairly effective for the sake of drawing attention to the foreground. Was that on purpose, or serendipity?
Hello there, I just found your site and I got to admit its an awesome work youre doing, Im a huge fan of Batman myself and the way you use him in your comic is really really cool. His whole black suit and silver symbol make him look menacing. Very well done. If you got a chance, please visit my blog Out Of Place, is also a photocomic and Batman also shows up there.
@Kevin– It’s not that his legs are lost, it’s that they’re blocked in each shot–remember that the figure has silver boots, so they show up pretty easily. The angle of each shot hides them, though.
As to the Batman fade-out…serendipintentional?
@Diego– Thanks! Checking out your project, I’m impressed with the full bilingual posts–translating entire posts like that takes a kind of dedication I don’t think I could emulate. It also makes me wish I hadn’t let those high school Spanish lessons slide…Interesting work!
