Easy one-panel today, cause working on the story takes effort, and I decided to spend the day watching the Justice League cartoon instead. John Stewart…is a lame GL. Then again, maybe it’s just the show’s portrayal of GLs in general, I dunno. Still. It seems all he can ever make are walls, bubbles, and…flechette rounds? I keep watching him in battle and thinking, “Wow, Hal (or Kyle) would have done that so much more neatly…”

‘Course, I’m starting the second season and I still haven’t seen:

a) Superman using any kind of speed. Or making it through a battle without getting knocked out at some point. Earth-1 Supes would kick the crap outta him, to say nothing of Pre-Crisis Supes.

b) Wonder Woman actually using her Golden Lasso of Truth to, y’know, find out the truth about something.

c) Martian Manhunter making it through an episode or storyline without getting his ass kicked/captured.

*sigh* I’m such a nerd.
