I hope you all like the new site design! I certainly do.

Switching to Wordpress gave the site a whole host of new features; including a better archives system, the ability to comment, plus a more dynamic strip navigation system. You know, one like every other webcomic already has. At any rate, let me go over some of the new stuff in detail:

• Archives: The old archives page has been adapted to the new site, and can be found by clicking Archives in the ‘Pages’ category to your right. In addition, you’ll see the calendar system there, which will take you to the strip you’re looking for, provided you know the date. But, just in case that wasn’t enough (or in case you hate calendars–calendarphobe) there’s ALSO a drop down menu which will call up all the archives for a given month. Don’t I rock?
• Comments: First off, they WORK! You’ll have to enter your name and email in the given fields in order to comment, and your first couple of comments will be moderated–I’ll have to approve them before everyone else can see them. After that, you should be able to post freely, so long as you don’t abuse it.
• Gravatars: I first saw this over at Poe Ghostal’s site, and shamelessly copied the idea (seriously, I even emailed him to ask him how he made it work when I was having issues with it). In order to use them, you’ll need to go to the Gravatar website, register your email, and upload an icon. Then, when you post here, or at any other site that supports them (once again, such as Poe’s), and use that email address for your comments, it will automatically display that avatar! Neat, huh?
• Voting: Is still there! You’ve probably noticed by now that they’re on your right-hand side…if you like the comic, let people know!
• RSS: Is still working, but has a new feed. If you’re using it, you’ll need to update to the new feed by clicking the Subscribe button along the top navigation strip.

You’ll also notice that there’s a new banner along the top; one that’s a little more visually interesting than the original Batman one. I’m planning to do a new banner every month (and eventually to include a script that calls a banner at random), but here’s where the fun part is. I’m going to let YOU pick which characters appear! Obviously, you haven’t seen all of my figures, but you’ve seen a good mix of characters so far. Leave a comment here and nominate your favorites to appear in the next banner, and the one with the most votes wins!
