You might’ve noticed there haven’t been any updates for the last couple of days (at least, I hope you did–it’d be kind of silly for you to keep coming back and reading the same strip without realizing it). The simple answer is, I haven’t had time.

The truth is, Fanwank eats up more of my time than you’d think for what essentially consists of playing with action figures. So, effective immediately, the site’s update schedule is changing from ‘Daily’ to ‘Whenever I get to it.’ Of course, I won’t be dropping it entirely–there are still story threads I need to resolve, and by the time those are done, I’ll probably have inadvertently created even more.

I had considered a number of approaches–dropping back to three days a week, or even putting the site on hiatus while I finished out the rest of the current story in one large chunk, then putting it all up, a day at a time. But, the fact is, the one that appeals to me most is the one that allows me to treat the strip like exactly what it is–a hobby. So, there’ll still likely be several updates a week, there just usually won’t be seven updates a week.

Pushing content out daily for this thing impressed a few people, and more worried that I’d burn myself out, but the fact is, I enjoyed it while I was doing it, and I may even go back to that schedule later on. But lately, I simply don’t have time. Y’know. Life and stuff.

So, thanks for sticking with me this long, and I hope you keep reading. Keep an eye out and keep it in your RSS feeds. The story ain’t done yet.
